NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF GHOLSON FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026

To all interested persons including, without limitation, taxpayers, property owners, residents, and citizens of the City of Gholson for fiscal year 2025-2026, a hearing will be held Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gholson City Hall at 749 Knust Circle, Gholson, Texas, to propose the budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year's budget by an amount of $31,240, which is a 140 percent increase from last year's budget. The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $6,449.19.
