August 17th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gholson City Hall at 749 Knust Circle, Gholson, Texas, to propose the Budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
All interested persons including without limitation to taxpayers, property owners, residents, and citizens of the City of Gholson for fiscal year 2023-2024, a hearing will be held Thursday,
August 24th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gholson City Hall at 749 Knust Circle, Gholson, Texas, to adopt the tax rate for the 2023-2024 Fiscal year and the Budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
 All interested persons may appear at the hearing and speak for or against the proposed budget. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last years’s budget by $173, or 0.49% increase in last years budget.  The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $3,048
