NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ON TAX RATE AND PROPOSED BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF GHOLSON-FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024

 

All interested persons including without limitation to taxpayers, property owners, residents, and citizens of the City of Gholson for fiscal year 2023-2024, a hearing will be held Thursday, Monday, September 11, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gholson City Hall at 749 Knust Circle, Gholson, Texas, to accept the Tax Rate for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.  This rate will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $173 or 0.49%, and of that amount, $3,048 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.   The Tax Rate will not change from the previous year’s rate of 0.046510%
